Study cert 3 in individual support at Breakthru College reflects the role of workers in a community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support for people who require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. It includes assisting people with daily tasks and providing emotional support.
At Breakthru College, students are provided with a comprehensive course of training that includes theory-based classroom learning and practical training in simulated or real community settings, as well as a supervised work placement. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment listing the unit or units of competency that you have successfully completed.
